Oh man, I spent hours working on the feature! I was even waiting for a release to update it on my own site! Should I have to do all that work again on my on dev box?

How's that possible? If they merge into master and do a release, isn't master always the release?

Hey guys, I'm newbie here, I tried contributing to an open source project on github, my PR was accepted and it says "Pull request successfully merged and closed". But I don't see my code on master. This was on the develop branch. I don't see it on the release notes either, there have been at least 4 releases after this
